They don't charge

I bought 2. Neither are charging their battery. What do I do with them??

Will not remove cork. Stops half way thru the cork

Please note that the Electric Wine Opener may experience problems with a small percentage of plastic/synthetic corks and undersized corks. If in this case, the cork should be removed manually.

Stopped charging after just 1 year

I bought it approximately one year ago and it was working just fine. Now, without any reason, this is no longer charging. So it is completely useless. We like the product, the design is something to be highlighted, but I got my concerns when it comes to durability and quality. We would like to maintain it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A disappointment

Now that I have experienced the same problems as other reviewers describe, I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchase. Waste of money.

Did Not Hold Up

Have had this product for 18 months and now it’s starting to fail. It doesn’t hold a charge. Paid far too much for an inferior product! I do not recommend it.

Bought 3 — All died with 18 mos. Don’t Buy This!

I received the battery powered wine opener as a gift about 10 years ago. I loved it and used it for about five years. When it stopped working, I bought a new one and also bought two others to give as gifts to family members. With an 18 months, all three of these stopped working. Such a huge disappointment and embarrassing really because they were junk. And these are certainly not the cheapest wine openers on the market. I would not recommend this brand.

Questionable Quality Material

I bought this a few years ago at BJ's and it has worked well removing most corks, however the black soft grip handle area on the backside has become sticky and there is no way to remedy this. I hate to throw it out because it still works, but it is so tacky it sticks to everything and no way stop this.

Poor Reliability

This is my second Oster wine opener. Both have failed for the same reason. One of the two electric contacts on the open have fallen off and thus the opener can no longer be charged. When working it works well and is easy to use, but i will not buy another one and would not recommend the product. Both lasted about 9 months before malfunctioning.
