Very poor product ! I was excited after receiving this as a Gift....It loses its charge very quickly, maybe 1 or 2 bottles..! My sorrow was before I realized that was the case....... I had purchased 2 more, given as 🎁 gifts !! Neither one worked correctly!! NEVER again will I buy OSTER !

If your wine opener is not working, it might be because the unit was not charged properly. We suggest you try the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Plug one end of the adapter cord into the base of the recharging unit and the other end into the main socket.
2. Place the Electric Wine Opener into the recharging unit ensuring that it is firmly in position and that it is fully engaged with the recharging connection. It will take approximately 6-8 hours to recharge your electric wine opener.
3. When your Electric Wine Opener is fully recharged it can be used to open approximately 30 bottles.
Take note: It has been noted that the Electric Wine Opener may experience problems with a small percentage of plastic/ synthetic corks and undersized corks, if in this case the cork should be removed manually.

Your Oster® Silver Electric Wine Opener has a 3-year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly or fill in the "Contact us" link provided below to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

Stopped working

Stopped working after a few months. It stops as soon as it is applied to the cork.

Got this as a wedding gift. It’s been charging for days and still is not strong enough to pull the cork out.

Terrible product

Bought this wine opener as a Christmas's gift in 2022 it worked fine for about a month. It now fully charged inner screw that is supposed go into the cork just spins does not go up or down. Wife was not happy with this gift. After looking at the web site its seems not many are happy with this product. My fault i should have looked at the website reviews first. But we have may other Oster products and that it was a quality product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the 2nd one I have purchased. They only last about 18 months. Then they do not recharge. Terrible!

Bad battery?

Brand new wine opener will not charge. After three days on the charger, (yes, both of the LED’s are lit) it has not charged.

Disappointing

I was given one of these as a gift. I used it times and now it only goes into the cork about 1/2 inch and stops. I sent in one the support requests with the numerous photos and haven't received so much as a form letter.
