Don't buy if u like hot coffee

Don't buy makes luke warm coffee thought would make hot coffee with the adjustable warming plate but was wrong my $15 coffee maker makes hotter coffee save your money don't buy

Waste of Money!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This style was bought for me eight months ago because I broke the decanter to my old one, and the decanter started leaking about a month after I had gotten it. So I got a new coffee maker for Christmas and it's not even a month old and the decanter started leaking. WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!!!

Stands the Test of Time!

I purchased the Mr. Coffee Performance Brew 12-cup Coffee Maker a little over 10 years ago as a beginner coffee drinker while in college. After living on my own and storing for a few years to try out a Keurig, I recently started using daily again to accommodate the needs for my fiance and I. After all those years the quality in taste hasn't gone down and it still brews like new. As expected after extended use, the carafe cracked on us a few weeks ago however, after looking at current models on the market we decided to purchase a replacement carafe instead. Highly recommended!
I would recommend this to a friend!

YES Strong set, Warmer Temp set, front fill view

We have had this machine for years (date code F226), and since we really like the coffee that it makes, we are planning to buy another one just like it. We enjoy the Strong setting. The Warmer Temp setting is a key for us (turned down to low, as we do not like the taste of warmer burned coffee). We also like the front water fill view, as there is a slight difference between the fill lines on the carafe versus the machine (e.g., four cups of water on the carafe is more than four cups on the fill view, and we follow the fill view). We do not use any water filter, as we only drink spring water.
These features, and the quality of the coffee, far outweigh any issues that we have experienced with it. The issues are: 1) the carafe has a black plastic ring around the top, which collects water when it goes through the dishwasher (we use a paper towel to wick the water away when we remove it from the dishwasher), and we would like to buy a carafe with no top ring to use with our new machine (I posted a question on this), and 2) pouring the water into the top is a bit awkward, but not a deal breaker. I have shopped extensively for a new machine, and I'm happy to have found our fave here.
I would recommend this to a friend!
