The best feature of this coffee maker is that the bell timer can be made silent so that it doesn't wake you up in the morning when the coffee is ready!

RARE Model with thermostat

I have been using this model for years. The thermostat for the warming plate is the rare feature. It saves your coffee from getting cooked. It always taste good. Great for room temperature later or Iced coffee. You can microwave the coffee later and it will taste good. My habit is to make things do more than they were supposed to originally. They never envisioned this to be so great but I guarantee you this is the only coffee maker to buy. Oh, and my current FTX41 is at least 15 years old. I have bought them as gifts and for other houses too. This is the best machine made!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Programmable 12 MONTH coffeemaker

I love the features and look of this coffeemaker, but it seem the product name should be "12 MONTH Programmable" since they only last about 12 months. My 5th or 6th one has failed again after about 1 year.....is "12 month warrantee" what is
PROGRAMMABLE??....last only 12 months to get beyond warantee and fail?
I clean regularly and maintain them well, but it is always the Controls that give out and stop working. Will not light up and run. Will have to look for a less desirable MORE DURABLE coffee maker elsewhere...

nice looking - -questionable reliability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] received as a christmas gift - -really liked the aesthetics. Carafe somewhat problematic with regards to filling machine with water (spout too shallow, had to have lid on to pour without spilling). coffee was very good but it stopped working after 8 months (would not heat up).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had this for over a year. It brews at least one pot of coffee a day without issue. Works better than some models costing much more.

Great coffee maker

We loved this maker had it for 2 years broke the carraffe try to find a replacement one was unable to still have it just hoping to find one if the carraffe was stainless would be the perfect machine

it does not work

I worked normally but stopped working. All the led lights come on and only a simple typical start or end sound is heard but does not do more.

Frustrated

Have had my coffee maker just over a month, half of which we were on vacation. Now it won't brew. A little water comes through but the rest will not run through. I would not have expected problems just a month after purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
