Same problem here - stopped brewing, does not heat

We've had this model coffee maker for only a couple of years and it has stopped brewing. Tried the light smacking and shaking options to possibly loosen up clogged parts or float but no success.
It wouldn't be worth sending it for repair, overall for me it wasn't worth the money spent

Very disappointed!

This coffeemaker only lasted a week! We couldn't get the carafe in or out of the coffeemaker until we took the top off of it. Bad move! After a couple of times using it that way it started huffing & puffing & throwing water every where. I unplugged it & haven't used it again! I'm sticking with the basic Mr Coffee. These others are not made well!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this coffee brewer. It is my second one the first lasted many years. The only thing is this one leaks every time I pour coffee out of it. I'm ordering a new glass container and I hope I don't have the same problem. The old one never leaked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Horrible coffee maker

This coffee maker was great at first. I bought this a few months ago. The clock is out and the coffee maker leaks everywhere on my countertop each time I use it. I had cleaned it thoroughly and inspected it to find the leak, when I finally found it I noticed there is nothing I can do to avoid this issue, it comes from the hole in the back of the machine. I highly DO NOT recommend buying this one. Even the replacement I got thinking the other one was a defective one is doing the same thing as the old one. Now it is too late for me to return it since it has been too long. Highly disappoinytented with this machine, so much for upgrading from my old coffee maker.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great coffee maker

I have two Mr Coffee Performance Brew 12-cup coffee pots. The second one is in the House and have used is once or twice a day for over 3 years. The first one is now in the cabin still making great coffee and is about 4 years old.
Both still make excellent coffee. Really like the notification with the coffee is done, along with the temperature control for the pot. The brew control work great.
Lost the manual so I did a chat with the support person and to find how to use the clean setting. Got the cleaning instructions and they e-mailed the manual.
Thank for a great product.

I bought this coffee maker shortly after my wedding and it STILL makes great coffee! I was married in1989! After daily usage it is only now starting to leak a little so I am delighted to see that the same model is made. This has been my all-time favorite, dependable coffee maker and I highly recommend it.

I had a coffee maker like this one, but it developed a problem. Being in a hurry, I bought a lower-cost Mr Coffee from a warehouse store. It made good coffee, but I missed a lot of the features the previous one had. So I put that one away for a spare and bought this model again. I love that this one has separate Hour and Minute buttons, since I change the "start" time often. I like that I can turn the beep off if I want to. The separate cover for adding water is so much more convenient than having to pour the water in the same opening as the coffee and occasionally spilling the water where it doesn't belong; this is so much easier.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor durability

I bought this model and used it barely 100 times. Since I drink mainly tea, brewing coffee only once or twice a week, it was - yup, you guessed it - out of warranty by the time it conked. Yes, it brews nicely but now it's a piece of trash.
If you want something that lasts, I suggest you avoid this manufacturer.
