I had an older version of this model for ten years! And it didn't stop working. I had a little kitchen accident that knocked it off the counter and enough parts were damaged that it just needed to be replaced. I was really heartbroken because I didn't think I'd find one I'd like as much, but I was happy to find this newer, but nearly identical, model. And I really do love the new one just a much. It is simple, functional, and makes a great pot of coffee.

Pain to fill

I bought this a month ago, loving the esthetic look of the machine. Every morning I curse as i go to fill the machine with water because the "shower head" is in the way, making the water delivery gap small, and with the carafe size, awkward to fill. Water spills daily. I hate this machine. I wish I would've purchased the basic tried and true unit for half the price!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes horrible tasting coffee

I bought this coffee maker I tried it for a week I followed instructions on how to clean prior to brewing but nothing I tried made the coffee taste good. Finally I just returned it to the store. I would not recommend this coffeemaker.

Great while it lasts

I bought this 11/22/2016 and it died today 12/18/2107. None of the heat elements work. Made great coffee the 1 year and 28 days it lasted. I've been buying version of this coffee maker for almost 20 years and each new model last less then the older version.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The feature functions sold me

Several years ago, Mr. Coffee came out with a coffee maker with same functions as this model. When it came to replacing the older model, I could not find a similar model until I found this model for the price.

Outstanding Coffee Maker...Modern and Functional

Already had one at the house, and when my wife's work coffee pot died, I was grateful that this model had not yet been retired, as it brews delicious coffee. The machine is modern, easy to use, and more importantly easy to clean.

failed in only a few months my old one this replaced lasted tears and still actually works just does nor heat it as hot as I wanted it to
