A great coming of age movie

What a surprise this movie was. Yes it is from the director of superbad but don't go into this expecting another immature potty mouth flick, this is a much more mature, real look at teens and young adults and their struggles with finding themselves. The plot mainly takes place at a local amusement park. one amazing thing about this movie is its soundtrack. WOW, was it great. It has a good amount of chuckles here and there, but this is a serious movie, and it keeps your attention the whole way through. A great movie.

What's great about it: A well written, superbly acted film. Insanely great soundtrack
What's not so great: extras are nothing special

Lets just say that I now have a girl crush on Kristen Stewart. She plays the role of Em in a simple way, but she comes off so extremely cool and sexy and real that you completely believe her and love her.
Jesse Eisenberg should not be compared to Michael Cera, they are in fact different people, and the only similarities I see are hair colour. Plus Jesse has been put down for trying to act like Michael when in fact Jesse's been around longer.. he just didn't star in some slightly overrated film that put him on the map soon enough.
Anyway, this movie is great. If you liked Pretty in Pink, if you liked The Breakfast Club, if you liked Sixteen Candles, FINALLY.. here's something for you.
Also, like someone else said, don't expect Superbad all over again. It's much more than that.. and still, IT'S HILARIOUS. I love you Kristin Wig! and Bill Hader!
What's great about it: Story line, Kristen Stewart
What's not so great: Can't think of anything
