This movie kept me watching over and over. It looks really great in 1080p.
What's great about it: Good price. Awesome movie.
What's not so great: Nothing

Best StarTrek movie of them all

Without giving away anything, the writers of this movie did a great job of creating an entirely new franchise using the same characters, but giving them personalities that are different from and far deeper than anything seen by Shatner's original crew.
Although I was always more of a fan of Star Trek TNG than the original, I love that they created this new assortment of personalities such that fans of the original shouldn't be upset at all. Plot is probably only a 4-star if you discount this aspect of the writing.
Love the characters, love the CGI and love the possibilities for the future movies.
Only downside: When I look at Spock (Zachary Quinto) I keep waiting for him to go crazy and start killing peple. LOL. A big change of pace for the actor from Heroes, but honestly, he does a great job.
What's great about it: Brand new story line with no fear of offending die-hard fans
What's not so great: Still have difficulty accepting Sylar as Spock
I would recommend this to a friend!

Having never been a star trek fan growing up i didnt really know what to expect, but this movie was great! The story was excellent, casting was great (i've never watched too much of the tv series to compare, but i thought the actors did a good job), and special effects were great! A must own for your Bluray collection
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this movie. The picture is great, the sound is great, the story line is great, etc. It is amazing...especially on Blu Ray.
What's great about it: I don't like Star Trek, but this movie was awesome....and it came at a GREAT price. :)

Love the movie, it satisfies a general audience and fans of the original franchise. My wife, who does not like science fiction, loved the movie. J.J. Abrams put the modern twist in without compromising the original mythos very much. Fantastic cast from an eclectic group. High replayability.
What's great about it: Great film, Great price
What's not so great: The special features on the first disc do not include the trailer on the enterprise being constructed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not much to say. Purchase was easy, price was very competitive, and I loved the movie.
What's great about it: Excellent plot, stayed true to original, but would still be great for 1st time viewers
