blue ray is simply amazing. I'm not a star trek fan and thought the movie was well done.
What's great about it: Great picture and sound
What's not so great: nothing

Awesome adventure, edge of your seat nonstop fun.
What's great about it: The Story resets the entire series to start new from the begining.

I saw this 5 times at the theater and I couldn't get it fast enough on Blu-Ray! it is visually awesome!
What's great about it: It is awesome, keeps to trek story

It's an awesome movie! Perfect for Trekkie and non-Trekkie alike. Definitely an alt-universe to the original.

I was never a trekkie but now seeing this movie. It was awsome great action sequences, loved the characters and the actors who played them, and the storyline
What's great about it: The whole movie was exceptionally great

Thus far, this is the greatest sci-fi film of the 21st century. The seamless quality of SFX, use of a youthful pool of acting talent, and an excellent story line make for a cinematic experience that has shattered any sci-fi release in the past decade (perhaps the last two decades). I know that there are a lot of dissenting Trek purists out there, but not a single one can doubt the production quality and wide amount of appeal that surrounds this film.
I will look forward to more Trek films by J.J. Abrams.
What's great about it: Ultra sharp HD movie. Quality of cinamatography and SFX is seamless.
What's not so great: Perhaps there could have been more extras.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a great buy for a recent movie. The 1080p resolution is the best and the movies special effects wow even me. As a dvd collector, Star Trek is a must have.
What's great about it: great price
What's not so great: too short

I'm not that big into Star Trek, but this movie blew me away. It has great special effects and keeps you interested from beginning to end. My only regret is that it is not long enough. I'll have to wait till the next one to satisfy my new craving. Blu-ray is the way to go for picture and sound and this film delivers the best of both.
What's great about it: Great special effects, great acting, interesting story
What's not so great: To me it felt a little short, so I guess I'm just going to have to wait till the next one
