It's a pretty good movie. It gives the basic rundown of how Kirk and the original crew met and started out. Not all actors appeared as they should have, in comparison to the original Star Trek. Overall, not bad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Loved it, got it for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. Watched it, first Blu-Ray DVD we've ever had, we were very impressed. The Story line is great, they took what they knew of the original Star Trek, and added they're own style as well as Story to it. Made it they're own. I would not say that this was just another remake. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the original Star Trek, but keep in mind, it's got it's own story. But over-all great story. Live Long and Prosper.
What's great about it: The picture, the story line, the characters, the reference jokes.
What's not so great: You need a good tv to enjoy it to it's fullest
I would recommend this to a friend!

I'm not hard to please when it comes to movies. Like all other Star Trek movies I really liked this one but it just seemed like something was missing.
Never the less it was great entertainment.
I would recommend this to a friend!

First off i am going to say that i hate Star Trek, but this movie was awesome. It exceeded my expectations, it had great graphics, actors and even a great story about how it all started. I will watch this movie again. So it Proves, even though you do not like the series, you can still love the Movie.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: nothing

JJ Abrams does a great job of bringing Star Trek back from the dead. After the last 10 years of watering the Star Trek universe paramount put it in the hands of a very capable director. The movie has the action and humor that brings you back to the original series without taking itself to serious. Are there holes in the plot? Yes but you don't really think about it until after the movie is over. Does it drag trying to set you up for the next movie. No it does not so the plot holes can be forgiven. It is a must buy for all movie fans.
What's great about it: It erases the worst of the next generation movies
What's not so great: Plot had a few holes in it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Fresh take on the Star Trek universe, new story formula.

If you like Star Trek at all, you'll love this movie. If you love sci-fi actions, you'll love this movie. I recommend it.
What's great about it: Love the plot, love the amazing sound, great filming, action-packed
What's not so great: One moment of really bad acting, plot...well, I can't give my specific complaint or I'd spoil it for you.
I would recommend this to a friend!
