All I can say is this is classic Star Trek at its best. If you are a fan of the series and haven't seen this movie, you are missing out. The next movie cannot come fast enough for me.
What's great about it: Retained all the good of the series and added more!
What's not so great: The length between the release of this movie and the next.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved this movie. bought it for 16.99 yesterday and loved every minute of it. the picture quality is great and im sure makes it a better experience than watching it on the big screen.
i have never watched star trek so i don't much about the characters, but this movie explained everyones position pretty well without exaggerating stuff.
Tons of bonus features and most importantly....a digital copy!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the best films last year. Great story, classic characters reborn, visually awesome. Bonuse content is fantastic! Digital copy. Wife approved!
What's great about it: Plot, Picture, Bonus content
What's not so great: Alternate Ending was just a dream - just kidding

Enjoyed this prequel. It was rather intense but interesting telling of the Start Trek story in way that leaves everything wide open for future movies!

As a Star Wars fan, I enjoyed this film alot. Great back story give insight into the characters I never knew (or cared about). Action was plentiful and the Blu Ray version looked great.

BEST SCI_FI movie of 2009

top 5 movies of 2009 and by far the BEST and most entertaining TREK film to date... As long as you don't mind Lens Flair
What's great about it: great new twist on Star Trek and great for non Treckies
What's not so great: didn't like the vulcan plot twist at 1st

This movie especially on blue ray looks amazing. The whole story was great and visuals were wonderful. I'm not much of a Trek fan but this movie made me expand and embrace Star Trek.
