Brave heart -- A Classic

This movie was purchased as an addition to my collection, under the classics. This is a hunting story that takes place during a very historic period of time -- but the classic warrior story... Mel Gibson does an incredible job of portraying the wounded, seeking revenge.

The location is breathtaking and adds to the movie's allure.

My personal favorite movie

In spite of the fact that people love to point out the numerous historical inaccuracies in this picture, all I can say is that with Hollywood, you are going to get that. This is still my favorite movie of all time. I love history, and I love movies that make history come alive. The costumes, settings, characters, cinematography, and dialogue in this movie are, in my opinion, awesome. I also like the fact that there is a moral struggle in this movie, not so much concerning the main character, William Wallace, but rather it is the character of Robert the Bruce who must come to grips with what is right or wrong. Even though it is been out for over 20 years now, I still haven't seen another movie that I like more that this one.
