Strip out bolts

I have been faithful customer of Definitive technology speaker for many years. So when it was time to mount my satellite and center speakers to the wall and stand, no better product then the Pro-mount 90's, they are meant to support my satellite and center speaker (two required).
I learned quickly, after making adjustments to aim my speakers to the listening area, that the bolt, meant to get the clamp to tighten down on the ball, isn't sturdy enough to with stand the torque and stresses.
After serval attempts to adjust the speaker and tighten down, the speaker would dope down, failing to properly secure the speaker at the correct angle.
I soon discovered why, the bolt had strip and could no longer properly clamp down on the ball and tighten.
To remedy this problem I went to my local hardware store and brought me replacement bolts that had a head, that I can use a socket wrench to better tighten the clamp down instead of the allen wrench style tool and bolt that was provided with the mount, so that it can bite into the ball, securing the speaker properly.
I would recommend that you take the mount with you to get the right length and nut to fit in the lower half of the mount.
I used a High grade bolt, 1-1/2 inch long with matching nut and washer. Both should fit inside the recess area of the mount and be able to put a socket wrench on the head to tighten it down.
I included photos of the strip bolts and new bolts I installed along with new nuts and washer. They worked perfect for this application. I plan on buying me a third set, I'll be tossing the original bolts for new bolts that I have already purchased.
