Ratchet & Clank is a pretty good game specially this version of the series, I was surprised how addicted I became when playing. I enjoyed the fact that you can customize "some" of your weapons as far as the barrel, clip, color, etc. I do also like the fact on how your able to upgrade your weapons and armor depending on how much you use them. Theres about 20 or so different types of weapons such as pistol, bombs, snipers, rockets and so forth. The armor/outfits that you can buy throughout the game are also pretty cool looking. The game does take sometime to finish if you do all the side missions. The only bad thing I would say (since no game is perfect) about this games is that its a bit too cartoonish, but its ok since the everything makes up for it. So overall its a good to purchase since its a good change of pace from all of the other games out there.
What's great about it: Weapons, Weapons & Weapons!
What's not so great: Nothing!
I would recommend this to a friend!

one of the funniest and best games

it was a really good game to play. it is definetly a game to pick up if u are a fan of the ratchet and clank series. this game also has alot of comedy in it which makes it that much more enjoyable to play. the only problem is that if u dont do all the side missions it can be very short.
What's great about it: fun for a first time gamer or someone who wants a fun game to play
What's not so great: a little too short and it can b really easy
I would recommend this to a friend!

I feel there is a challenge in the game just right for gamers. One of the amazing features is the flawless switching between playing with Ratchet and playing with Clank. Also I like that you can earn bolts to buy new weapons on the Grommelnet. I love using the Groovitron gloves while I beat them senceless with my big ol' wrench.
What's great about it: The thing I like about it is that you can actually fly around the galaxies instead of just " video game warping" there.
What's not so great: Wow, that's a tough question, without an answer
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've been a big fan of the francise. I have to say they never let you down. This is one of the best games to play out of the francise. Pick it up.

With the release of this title, the Ratchet & Clank franchise has established itself as THE modern platformer. Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time provides the player with a perfect mix of platforming, 3rd-person shooter, and even RPG elements. Ratchet & Clank, who are apart for much of the game, battle through several beautiful planets across several sectors of a galaxy. With the ability to go through challenge mode and bonus items scattered throughout the galaxy, this game gives players lots of replay value even after winning the final boss battle. To add to the awesomeness are graphics and sound effects comparable to those of a movie. To those who have played previous Ratchet & Clank titles, the formula is the same here in A Crack in Time, but why would Insomniac want to alter a winning formula? It's like telling the Philadelphia Phillies to stop hitting so well because it's getting old.
Simply put, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is a masterpiece. Anyone new to the series should check out this game, and all of the duo's long time fans will absolutely adore this latest addition.
What's great about it: Solid mix of platforming and 3rd-person shooter elements, incredible presentation, good replay value
What's not so great: Weapons not quite as cool as those in its predecessor
I would recommend this to a friend!

Received this game free as part of a bundle when I purchased a Sony XBR8 TV. Didn't get a vote in the choice of game (nor in the movie that came with the bundle (reviewed separately)), but in the case of the game, this has been a fun game, and multiple family members have enjoyed playing it. Not too juvenile for the adults, and not too complex for the younger ones. Good game all the way around. The Playstation3 platform needs a few more games like this one to round out their current offerings. The graphics are outstanding!
What's great about it: Outstanding graphics; enjoyable characters; suitable for entire family
What's not so great: Nothing really
I would recommend this to a friend!
