I have loved Harry Conick Jr. ever since I saw the movie When Harry Met Sally. His music really helped to contribute to that movie's success, and created an instant fan in me. This album does not disappoint. It is along the same line as the When Harry Met Sally music in that he takes familiar loves songs, and gives them a beautiful smooth jazzy feel. I would definitely recommend this CD.
What's great about it: I love his smooth voice, and the jazzy feel of this new album

Harry At His Best

I'm sitting here and replaying this cd for the second time. It's so soothing and reminds me of the music my parents used to listen to when I was a kid. He reminds me a lot of Frank Sinatra but at the same time he is himself. The smoothness of the music is great to curl up with a glass of wine and just unwind. I highly recommend this to everyone but it would be great for a dinner party or while having friends over for a chat. It is unobtrusive and would be the perfect background music.
What's great about it: It is smooth and quiet and slows me down. The music reminds me of my parents.
What's not so great: N/A

As I always am, I was blown away by Harry Connick Jr’s newest cd. It was such an easy, mellow mix of covers of beautiful songs. My personal favorite is Elton John’s “Your song” – Connick did an amazing job at making it his own without losing the meaning. The only negative is that they were all covers and I am a big fan of his originality.
What's great about it: Great Covers
What's not so great: No originality
I would recommend this to a friend!

Harry Connick Jr. sings the old classics in this album. It is a very smooth sounding and nice CD to listen to. Nothing wildly exciting, just good basic versions of old songs. A nice collection of songs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was excited to receive this album. It had songs that reminded me of family times long ago. The songs Smile and Mona Lisa, are very enjoyable and worth mentioning. Some other songs are just there for quiet listening. They missed the mark and were needing the jazz style Harry Connick Jr. is noted.
What's great about it: well loved songs
What's not so great: something is missing

I really liked the Your Songs album. It had wonderful songs from the past all put together. However, because Harry Connick Jr was singing it, I had a higher expectation of execution of the album. It lacks originality and the songs are a bit on the monotone side. The album is great for relaxing and soothing, but few of the songs will stand out as a new exciting version.
What's great about it: Great songs, great singer, great soothing album
What's not so great: Very little enthusiasm, lacks originality

Harry Connick Jr's Your Songs is terrific. Nice, mellow, easy-going music. Harry's voice is super, as usual, and this album is perfect for when you want something soothing and mellow. His choice of songs for the album, while not unique, has something for anyone. You will enjoy listening to this album.
What's great about it: Wonderful Voice
What's not so great: Very Mellow music

This is one of the best Harry Connick Jr albums around! Harry Connick takes his smooth easy to listen to singing voice and adds twists to favorite songs such as "I Can't Help Falling in Love With You" and "Just the Way You Are" to make them seem fresh and new! This is definitely an album you will be happy to listen to over and over!
What's great about it: Easy listening
What's not so great: N/A
