Just "OK" for me

I expected a little more from this album. I liked the easy listening feel to it, but a lot of the songs sounded "forced". HJC is such a great singer, but I don't think this is one of his best albums. I love the song choices , I just wish he tried to make them him own a little more. Overall a nice relaxing CD, but I'd like to see him do better in the future.
What's great about it: easy listening
What's not so great: sounds "forced"

Some good, some not so good

This album is a collection of remakes. I thought some were done nicely like Besame Mucho and Mona Lisa. But others I didn't care for - like Just the Way You Are and Close To You. These, for example, are just too classic; too hard to remake without sounding like karaoke. But, it's still Harry Connick Jr. and he has one of the most beautiful voices out there, so overall I liked it.
What's great about it: Harry's smooth and beautiful voice
What's not so great: Some of the songs are too "classic" to be safely redone without sounding like karaoke
I would recommend this to a friend!

A Great Listen!

This is the first time i have listen to Harry Connick Jr, and i must say i love it! I loved hearing all these old songs redone. This is a great album, even my children and grandchildren lovedlistening to it. A family pleaser for sure!
What's great about it: Easy to listen to

Although I have been a fan of Harry Connick, Jr. (actor and singer) for many years, I must admit that this is the first album of his I have listened to from start to finish, repeatedly. As a fan of all music genres, I really enjoyed the blend of new and old songs on this album. I found myself singing along to many of the songs in the car. My three year old even danced along to the music! This is a wonderful, romantic album and I have recommended it to many friends and family members. If you are looking for a great album from start to finish, look no further than "Your Songs."
What's great about it: Great, romantic tunes
I would recommend this to a friend!

This to me was so nice to listen too. I enjoyed the twist on some of the old classics.Found this to be a great easy listening .great album to own so you wont be dissapointed if you buy it

Since I received this CD, I haven't taken it out of my CD player! All of the songs are so soothing and are everything you'd expect from a Harry Connick Jr. CD. Love listening to this CD on my way home from a stressful day at work. He's one of my favorites and this CD reminded me why. Favorite song on this CD is "Smile". Highly recommended! Won't be sorry if you get this.
What's great about it: All great songs!

Harry Connick, Jr. has done it again. He has released a new album featuring some classic songs that are surely favorites of everyone already. Lyrically he can do no wrong with his velvety vocals. Musically he is an equal delight with his big band sound.
What's great about it: Smooth Sounds of Harry
What's not so great: Some arrangements left me unsatisfied

Leave it to Harry Connick Jr to recreate magic. He has always been one of my favorites and he has not let me down on his lastest CD. I love that calming, peaceful voice of his mixed with a big band. Pure enjoyment!
