This new CD by Harry Connick Jr. is the epitome of relaxation music. As I popped it in the cd player, the soothing music and familiar lyrics made all my troubles fade away. This is not an upbeat, dancing cd by any means, but I believe in having many different types of music for my many moods. Playing soothing music calms me and my children, and helps us slow down a bit. I liked the new take on familiar songs, and I was singing "Close to you" wherever I went for days. All around, a great cd for relaxing and enjoying the music.
What's great about it: very calming
What's not so great: may be too mellow
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful CD

My First "Harry"

I was quite apprehensive, but considering his good looks, I gave Harry a shot... These pop love songs re-makes were not mushy, but mid of the road.. tempo... 9 out of 14 is not too bad of a deal!!! What makes this CD even special is Connick does Micheal Jackson's favorite song. "Smile"! Cool Beans!
What's great about it: Genre Friendly and Popular Artists Playlist
What's not so great: Some of the background music....
I would recommend this to a friend!

Harry's past CD have been great and he has a wonderful and soothing voice. However, I was not drawn to this particular CD. None of the songs were memorable. The songs were OK and unfortunately, even though I do like Harry, this CD is not my cup of tea. This is not to say that other Harry fans won't like this though.
