I got my 7D to shoot movies and videos. But I found out it wonderful for pictures. All you need to do is purchase a Mac computer for Best Buy to complete the deal. After that you are in business.

Great new camera

While this is not my first Canon DSLR, it's definitely one of the best. I'm a semi-pro photographer, and I knew this would be one of my main cameras the minute I heard it was announced. The 18 megapixel images are fantastic, and the low light ISO noise control make this camera able to do things I'v never seen any DSLR do. The only issues I have at all are the fact that it's not inexpensive to get the quality and it's not exactly small or light. If asked would I purchase it again though? Absolutely!

What's great about it: Fantastic image quality, great features, canon brand

What's not so great: Size, weight and price

I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Camera

I like the expanded ISO, the 8fps speed, magnesium alloy body,finally they have this built in speedlite transmitter for effective control in lighting set-ups.

I am just frustrated with the opening price since they have intentionally put this in the price range of $1,600 to highs of $1,800.

What's great about it: More advanced features, solid built

What's not so great: No LCD Protection, overpriced.

Very pleased with auto focus, ISO, shutter speed, movie quality, wireless flash, feel of the body, well I'm happy with all the features. While spending this much on a camera is something that I never thought I would do I'm very pleased with the purchase and feel it is well worth the price.

What's great about it: Many functions are quick and easy to select. Movie function is great. Value.

What's not so great: Handling the large files

I would recommend this to a friend!
