Great Camera

I love my 7D.
I really enjoy the fps rate, when shooting air shows, birds and motorcycles racing. I take lots of landscape photos, too, and am very pleased with the end results.
I find the 18MP to be perfect for my use.
I have managed to have 2 separate falls (breaking three bones on the second fall) while hiking with the camera and the camera does not skip a beat. It is bullet proof, as far as I am concerned.
The auto focus, for the most part is darn good. I have many more keepers with this body than I did with my previous 20D, 40D or 50D.
I cannot recommend the 7D, enough. I have never felt so good about one of my cameras in the past, as I do the 7D.
Rumour has it there is a firmware update coming down the pike and if it has what I have read about, it is just going to make a great camera even better.

Great Image Quality

Upgraded from Rebel XTi about 18 months ago and I'm just in love with the camera. Great image quality, fast 8 fps and loaded with features. I shoot real estate interiors with canon speedlites and love the 7D's built in wireless flash control. I use it to control multiple flashes without the necessity of having to have a master on the camera or using a ST-E2. Even the 5D III doesn't have this feature. Another feature I get a lot of use out of is the built in level. A great help in keeping my photos straight. The high ISO makes taking photos in low light conditions easy. I highly recommend this camera.

This 7D is by and far the best purchase I have ever made. The speed, the quality, the options, the ___________ (fill in the blank). Its an investment that will last for years to come.

Great Camera Body

This was my second purchase of a Canon 7D body. while I was impressed with the first one, this one presents a much clearer picture when cropped and magnified. It is great for photographing birds in flight. I would not hesitate to suggest this body to anyone. My lens are all 'L' lens so that helps. I thought the first one was great but for some reason this puts it to shame. I now carry three cameras with me and have different lens on each plus a 2X in my bag. My original 7D had been dropped a few times and it never affected it's ability to bring excellent photographs.

Best Build and Ever Green

I am in Love with recent purchase.
Its a great camera and I was comparing between 7D (APS-C) and 6D (FF) and found 7d much better, fast, durable, 100% view finder that hard to find in 6d Full Frame.
Though price difference was hardly $200+ and I could have spent extra on it, but features of 7d saved my some extra spending too.
Thank you for great camera.

This is my first upgrade, and I am pleased the quality makes up for the price. It picks up the colors so well, and it is easy to pick up on learning the features. I only have the use of one hand, and am not able to pick up much weight, this camera gives me no difficulty. I also have difficulty holding stability, once again, this camera proves to be worth the price.
