Too Much Noise!

I love the features in the 7d, but am really disappointed with the high noise level
Pros: Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, Nice features/settings, Solid Operation
Cons: noisy

Canon 7D - ERR20 problem

The camera features are good and worked fine but failed on a lifetime trip to the himalayas where I carried about 12kgs of deadweight with lenses. ERR20 which seems to be a mechanical defect with the shutter assembly quality. After browsing the net i found there are a lot of photographers complaining on this issue. But i am worried if canon would look into this issue at all.
Pros: excellent image quality
Cons: Shaky operation, Poor build quality, Slow Start-up time

For manual video it's a great Camera when it comes to using it for photography the camera has a high failure rate. Images come out very soft!! I own the 70-200 2.8 L &16-35 2.8 L and I have used them on my prior canon body's with zero issues, I have tried applying the micro adjustments but I'm still not happy. It's a hit and miss on the focus.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: focus is soft !!

Awesome camera

This is the 3rd cannon that I own, prevoiusly i bought a cannon 50D, Needless to say this does not replace the 50D but it supports it. I like the LCD dispplay which is a full frame in it, It is more silent than the 50D which makes it ideal for my macro photography. the picture quality is excellent. It is a full professional camera that is very easy to use. Extended battery life makes it worth the dollars.
Pros: Superior build quality, excellent image quality, quiet, Solid Operation, easy to use, Lightweight/Portable

7D is amazing, i upgrade from 50D which i think the images quality is a big step! the tone and details are much better. plus the wireless built in, it is beautiful. the only thing is I hope canon next time make the radio wireless so it won't effect by the bright sun light or each speedlite sensor has to facing the camera =/
but over all.. this camera is very nice. right next to the 5D mark ii, very close.

I recommend this camera for anyone! Its fun and easy to use, and with a 70-200 f/4 and a 50mm 1.4 this camera performs great. Totally awesome!

Very nice upgrade from 40D

I bought this camera for the improved autofocus system plus the 100% view finder. It turned out both of these features were great and have helped turning me into a better photographer. In addition, I found the following features very helpful: build-in 1/3 grid on view finder, very nice LCD for immediate review, very easy to switch between focus point, very nice fill-in flash features plus high speed synch feature when using with the 580EX II.

Great camera

the only thing i wish this camera had was some way of adjusting the audio in put something to adjust the stereo
like the software in the canon 60d i think has sound adjustments other then that a great camera i do a lot of wildlife and landscape photography and have lots of cameras guess i am a camera geek
photos are so crisp and clear with this attach my canon l Lens
