Addition to my Bag of goods

I purchaed the Canon 7D as a backup to my Canon 5d Mark II. The 7D layout was close to that of the 5D Mark II and was an easy transition. I think I will be using the 7D more as I go along but its still my backup to the 5D.
Pros: good battery life, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, easy to use

Awsome Camera more than I expected

This camera does more than I need but at least I can do what ever I want there's no limit. Next purchase a 300mm l series lens.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use, made friends jealous
Cons: made my friends become haters

Worth Every Cent

I've used the 7D for about 7 months now. I love it. It takes better pictures than I am capable of and is worthwhile to the SERIOUS photog. NOT A full-frame sensor, so do not expect it. It is still a crop-sensor and will not produce images like the 1D. However, with the 10-22 lens attached, it does a pretty good job!.
With all that said, this camera is NOT for the beginner.

Amazing 7D!!

I purchased the 7D three months ago to replace my 30D. At first, I was indecisive whether to get the 5D MKII or the 7D. I went for the 7D and I am glad I did. The picture quality is amazing and the video quality is awesome.
The pictures taken from the 7D offers brilliant color and tones, which is worthy for publishing via web or printing using the Canon photo paper and frame them. What I like about this camera are the 100% coverage thanks to the Intelligent Viewfinder and the 19-Point AF system.
I really dig the full 1080P HD feature including the cinematic 24fps option, which I will be using to film short films (or home videos). With the dual DIGIC 4 processors, it offers fast-frame shots that I really want.
Kudos to you, Canon. Thanks for making this camera purely awesome. I am a happy Canon owner. :D

Best Camera Purchase One Can Make

I am what is there to review, this is hands down one of the best cameras out there on the market. If it just had GPS tracking/geotagging, it would be perfect. But it has so many features perfect for the pro or first time photographer. Best bang for your buck by far!

Canon took some enhancements from there high in Professional cameras and packages it into the 7D.
I have own a 7D over a year, And ask myself why I waited so long to decide to make this purchase.I have owned Canons SLRs in the past, it’s not my first rodeo, when you match this camera up with some L-Glass You have a package that blows away most of the other brands.A lot of my friends shoot with full frames can’t get over what the 7D produces compared to their higher price cameras.

You won’t be disappointed

I bought this camera for its video capability, I almost spent money on a 35mm adapter for my video camera to get that sought after film look and this camera saved me a thousand dollars, plus it takes beautiful pictures. Cropped sensor is the only downfall and thats not really major since a lot of cinema camera have the same size sensor. Being able to adjust the detail levels and run your footage through magic bullet will give you great film looking footage. Canon has not enabled people to really shoot cinema quality video.
