*** Hard Reset -- fix your netflix blah's.

*** A firmware upgrade broke netflix, but samsung seems to have fixed it if you do a hard reset: hold stop button on unit (not remote) for 8 seconds. Otherwise it plays dvd's, youtube, netflix etc. I wish the play button on the unit would start playing a blu-ray dvd. You must use the remote. 3rd party universal remotes work ok too.
Will also charge your usb devices when powered on.
Pros: Inexpensive
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love and live Samsung products, but this is the first and worst disappointing purchase of a Samsung product for me ever.
The backlit remote has the work back lighting ever. Dim is more like it even with fresh batteries. Added it only stays lit for literally 5 secs lol
The player itself list all the features on the package. I bought the system specifically for the BluRay, Nexflix, and Connect share of my external hard drive or flash drive. Well the bluray works, and netflix but not the connectshare. It does not see any of my movie formats on any device I plugin. Netflix can be annoying as if you are watching a show, in the beginning the movie will stop with a prompt asking if you are still watching the show and like to continue. Very Annoying!
Oh, and it won't let you do a software update either even though the option is there.
I so want my money back or a replacement. I do not recommend this product.

I have had nothing shirt of every problem with this blu ray player. I love samsung products but this is the absolutely worst product ever. Maybe, i got a bad unit but this was a nightmare and waste of money.
Cons: Poor quality

Bought this mainly to stream Netflix and then found out this model has known issues with Netflix. Go to the point where clicking on the Netflix button would crash the machine. Also the machine would turn on by itself and open the Blue-ray drawer after being turned off. Too bad, easy to use and a good menu.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

This Blu-ray player is great, but could be better

This is a great Blu-ray player, i love the apps it comes with. There are only a few things that I dislike, sometimes the Blu-ray freezes and I have to reset it. It would have been nice if you were able to download additional apps.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!
