Found this cheap copy instead of the more expensive collector's edition. It didn't catch my interest then and it didn't now. Don't know why I bothered to pick it up. Rent it don’t buy the 4k

The animation style is great. And the story itself is great. But you really need to be a hardcore fan of this movie and anime to think it’s a great flick. It was worth a watch but 4k added nothing to the experience. Save your money and buy the Blu-ray.

I’m in the minority here when I say Scarlett Johanssons version was 10x better and the story was easier to follow.

Decent movie, gorgeous SteelBook

This was my first time seeing this. Although it was fun to watch, I prefer the Scarlet Johansson one. As far as the 4K picture quality, I wasn’t impressed. Colors pop here and there, but overall the image of the animation is flat and soft, with some decent grain. The SteelBook is the only thing saving me from regretting this purchase.
