This is the quietest fax machine I've ever seen. Very nice for a busy office. Assembly was relatively easy. Easy to configure and use.

Easy to Use and Reliable

We needed a fax machine for another of our offices and since we already had the Brother Intellifax and were pleased with the performance, we bought another. Easy to set up, use and maintain. Reliable, prints reports/confirmations, can use as a copy machine too. Highly recommend it.

Excellent fax machine

n our paperless medical office( sic!) we get almost 10,000 pages of fax every month. From a workflow angle, this is better than efax for me, as I can quickly review them and discard 99% of the pages into garbage. . This brother is a perfect workhorse. Inexpensive consumables, clean straight paper path design makes this a star fax machine. 10 stars to brother!

The brush broke the first week

Within a week of receiving and setting up the fax the brush thing started to come unglued and eventually came off. We have not replaced it, but I would love someone to call me so we can get it replaced. The one we had previous to this one broke 2 weeks after the year warranty expired. I am not sure why I got another one?

Fails frequently. Very Slow

The fax machine frequently (daily) goes into a Printing Online mode and goes dormant. Only a reboot will temporarily resolve the issue. It is also very slow, to the point where they have opted to use a multifunction printer rather than use the fax machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our old machine was over 15 years old and getting very slow, The new fax machine is fast and we are very happy with it.
