It seems all the other manufacturers want you to change your kitchen to match their stainless steel fad. GE still offers the lesser used colors to go back in my not so up to date kitchen. This unit replaced a 40 year old GE unit that was still working!!! My wife just wanted some new features. Thanks GE.

I bought this as a replacement for my 17 year old oven. I needed the bisque color and GE is the only manufacturer who had what I needed. It has been hard to get used to, however it cooks great. My only complaint is, it is very slow to preheat and when it says it is ready, the temperature is not what it says. I have placed a thermometer in oven to check the temp and it usually takes an extra 4 - 5 minutes to reach the posted temp. Then they are alike and stay that way all during cooking.

easy cooking panel

Cooking panel took some getting used to but love it now. Would say that the directions on the timer are horribly written--ask for help before installers leave! Bought this one to replace a similar style that died on us after 18 years

Great double oven

Installed 2 days before Christmas. So far great. Fan very quiet. Bakes well. Easy to use. Would prefer if each oven had separate light controls.

Installation was a breeze in a slot previously occupied by an older generation GE double oven. I have read reviews about fan noise in all the new wall ovens and was concerned. Not a problem. The fan does come on as soon as oven is turned on which seems a bit of a waste, but it is very quiet. I have had the oven on at 375 for 90 minutes and the fan remains quiet with slightly wam air blowing out the bottom of the oven, no problem. I would imagine as the oven warms and is on high heat (like oven cleaning mode) for a long time it may get noisy. time will tell. It does take a long time to come up to temp but this has never really been an issue for me.

So quiet!

I didn't realize how loud my last oven was. This is totally quiet except for a small click sound. I love the "proof" and "warm" choices. It also shows the Temp of the oven as it is heating up to whatever you have set it at.
