Terrible and cheap appearance

They just installed this extremely cheap looking double oven. The one they took away was an older well made Monogram and this one does not fit snugly into the opening. There is a cheap piece of metal on the sides that is not as wide as the doors and it's open on the ends. The doors are sticking way over the sides and not snug to ANYTHING. Looks terrible. What has happened to GE's quality? Never again for me.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problem with design of oven

This oven works well, but if anything damages the floor of the upper oven, the entire upper and lower oven must be replaced, not just the damaged floor of the upper oven. This is a major flaw in the design of the oven.

I had a problem with the lower oven door fitting properly and the audible indications that the oven has reached the set temperature as well as the timer and cook time are not loud enough.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basically the same oven we've had for 21 years. A new and improved version. I hope this one lasts and does as good a job as the last oven.

The old oven finally died after 30 years of flawless service. The new oven had to have the cavity opening widened a bit. The new unit slipped right in and looks GREAT! I'm SOOOO HAPPY! And the interior is MUCH bigger and supports bigger dutch ovens and cookie trays! We are so excited to put this oven through its paces!

I would never have imagined an electric oven which generates noise which can be heard in another room as the heating element constantly turns on and off.
Also, unbelievable the amount of time it takes for the oven to reach the selected temperature.
