Good but these ovens leave much to be desired

I bought this product to replace my old GE ovens which could not be fixed as parts were no longer available - no surprise as the ovens were over 25 years old. I have stayed with GE products almost exclusively since 1973 but all things change and so I have found this set of ovens very difficult to adjust to. The temperatures, though checked, do not cook efficiently, but most troubling is the excessive heat that blows from beneath the ovens. This is causing quite a problem as it heats up the kitchen a lot. I wish I had been alerted to this condition at the time I was purchasing. And why do both lights have to go on when you need to check what is cooking in only one of the ovens? Old standby recipes no longer cook as they did in my old ovens but I was very limited in choices due to space, cabinetry, and cost. I've had the ovens a few months now so I am still adjusting to them but do I think they are great? No. I expected much more from GE.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Warming feature impressive

Replaced GE Monogram double oven convection we had for 18 years We have had it only 4 days and have used it each day. Preheats quickly. Temperature in both ovens right on. Baked salmon and a pork roast to perfection. Used warm function of 2nd oven each day to keep food cooked on stove warm while finishing sauces.

Warm/preheat takes a while

Nothing fast about this feature plan on a 15-20 minute preheat

I replaced our 25 year old GE wall oven 3 months ago. After using my new oven, i realized I should have changed out my oven 5 years ago. It is a pleasure using our GE double oven. I’m enjoying our new oven

New oven

This replaced a 34 year old GE that would not self-clean. The new one is slow to reach temp, very difficult to read the lettering on the panel. Time will tell if we like it. Don't get black: it does nothing to enhance the kitchen appearance - just a black hole.
