Beautiful and functional!

First let me say I love this oven. It is beautiful, functional and pretty easy to figure out. A few issues though - first, the shelves are coated so you can clean them along with the oven. Where they slide in and out of the oven, there is starting to be a white line which looks like the oven or shelf coating is becoming scratched? Also, the oven seems to take longer to heat up then my old oven. My old oven was a smaller size so that may be the factor but it does seem like it takes a long time to me.

NOT WORKING!!!

I bought this item, waited 3 1/2 weeks for delivery and instillation. It was installed on December 18th and it does not work!!! One week before Christmas, not a cookie baked. I have had company with meals that I had the order. I am so disappointed!!!!!! A part was ordered and will not be available until December 23rd for repair. How does a brand new oven come, broken?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Big upgrade

We replaced a nearly 30 year old 27" from a different manufacturer with this model and it is outstanding! We were surprised at the much more generous interior which has enough room for our All Clad roasting pan (would not fit in the old one). The convection feature works really well and the touch control panel is sleek and attractive. Love that the bottom heating element is not exposed and the interior halogen lighting is so much better than the rear light bulb illumination of the old oven.

Very Even Heat

I have been using these ovens for about 6 months now. They are great. Fantastic even heat, great for baking. The broiler is the best I've ever owned. There is only one minor drawback and that there is no timed bake setting - i.e. bake for x hours and turn off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Another Great Oven without Question!

We replaced our 23 year old GE oven w/microwave for the 27" Double Oven with Convection and we are not disappointed. We've only had it for three days and cooked nine meals for the family with no disappointments. We highly recommend GE products especially this oven, you won't regret it!!

Had to replace my 24" built in. So pleased I could get a great appliance, so many great features, and i didn't have to replace my whole cabinet!
