I needed to replace my 20 year old GE doubleoven. This model fit the custom cabinetry. It was very easy to operate with the new technology. I haven't used the convection oven too much to rate it but the traditional oven is very good..I like the interior which cleans quite well with vinegar & water after a spill. The oven takes some time to reach the required temperature needed . The fan cools the oven after cooking. I guess that's part of the new technology. I also like that you can broil with the door closed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Hot blowing are

Just purchased this oven . It looks great and cooks well but I did not realize that the vent at the bottom would put out so much heat! Sometimes it feels like an actual furnace blowing. It heats up the whole kitchen and that does not go well with the summers in Texas. I actually can feel the heat blowing from 6 feet away. Especially if you are using the top and bottom ovens at the same time. For this reason, I do not recommend this product in the southern states.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One Convection, Clean look

Like the one cention oven, but thought there was two. It looks clean and modern compared to the old 1079 we had.

Steam Cleaning feature/Made in the USA

Perfect addition to our kitchen and especially the steam cleaning feature that will allow us to clean the ovens without the smell of chemicals throughout the house. Great to see this appliance is made in the USA.

The timer on this oven does not count down and or reveal how much time has lapsed before reaching the 1 minute mark. Once the timer is set, after about 1 minute it flashes back to the current time of day. If you push the timer on/off button it clears the whole thing.
When the oven is on delay timed cooking the timer does not turn the oven off when the timer is finished.
These are two basic functions. These functions are not explained to the consumer before purchase but are assumed, as many ovens have these features.
One positive in this oven, when it finally (it takes a while) has reached its programmed tempature it really maintains it.

I have other GE procuts but I am extremely disappointed with this product. I can honestly state that I would not recommend it either.
