Very Disappointed

Oven cooks very inconsistently. Very difficult to get the oven to the desired temperature. For example, when the oven beeps indicating it has reached the digitally set temperature, the internal oven temperature is 75 degrees less. It takes almost 20 minutes to reach the desired temperature. Have had to watch everything I have cooked very carefully to make sure it does not under or over cook. Very dissatisfied.

Ok GE exec's AND product developers... what were you folks thinking not providing buyers with both installation and use manuals with new GE ovens so buyers could install and use your highly touted ovens with all it's bells and whistles?...Hello...I shouldn't have to go online and print out a complete user manual and installation guide...for the price of this oven YOU should provide me with that info period...now to the product ner' do well folks ...I'd like to know if any of you cook in a kitchen with dishwashers working, kids running around, tv's blasting etc. etc. what in heavens name made you develop an oven timer whose signal at it's loudest setting can't be heard even when you are right next to the oven ...I thought the folks that complained about the timer signal sounds were perhaps slightly hearing impaired... well they are not...I can hear a bird tweeting even in the noisiest setting but I can't hear GE's oven timer if I perhaps run water from the tap, have the stove's exhaust on, or heaven forbid I'm using a food blender, mixer, radio, telephone, ...etc. Where did you folks think this oven was going to be used ..in a graveyard? So figure out this product defect and give other new owners a break so they don't have to go out and buy a separate timer on top of their oven cost like I had too.

The oven inside surface is impossible to wipe up, even small spills. The only way to
clean is to self clean (expensive), so, in between self cleans you will have to live with
a dirty oven. Big issue: When you set up the "Time Bake" as soon as you are done
programming the cooling fan comes on even though the oven is not operating. The
service rep had to call GE engineering to see if this is what they designed and they
said it's "the way it is". A total waste energy even though it is min. power usage.
Otherwise it's a good oven.

Oven works great when it works

This oven works great - it came with our new home with the matching GE Microwave, it was replaced by GE due to constant error. when the oven gets too hot - an alarm goes off - and it shuts off - the oven alarm will not shut off until it cools off. - this has happened 3 more times since the replacement but there is nothing that can be done about it.

Looks good, but not really loving it

The over takes a long time to heat up and it's very noisy while starting and heating. Haven't noticed a difference between convection and regular cooking - except some things don't seem quite done when using convection bake. The keypad is extremely sensitive when setting the temperature. And when I'm using the stove, I have to lock the keypad because the keypads respond to the slightest touch from my body. When I open the oven at the end of cooking, the keypad gets fogged up and doesn't work. I think this is just an inconvenience - not a problem - because when the fog (condensation) goes away in a couple of seconds, it works fine again.

Cooks erratic

Cooks food erratically, burns food on top but leaves the center under cooked. Give us a standard oven any day. Also takes a long time to pre-heat.

The unit is very beautiful to look at and comes in handy with the WiFi capability to connect to Alexa. The oven itself seems to run a little under than what the temp states but other than that I can’t complain.
I would recommend this to a friend!
