We are highly satisfied with this oven. It is easy to operate and cooks prepared dishes just right. The inside is spacious and the outside is very sleek. Our last

Smooth working with clear controls

Wife and I had the GE oven installed several months ago. Big plus is the even cooking of large dishes. And the controls are easy to use. Takes a long time to preheat but that's just a quibble.
I would recommend this to a friend!

2nd Bad control panel.

Brand new. Original control panel did not respond to commands to initiate baking temperatures and the "Shut door' display was incorrect. 2nd control panel installed has the same 'Shut door' display error.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It Gets the Job Done

This oven replaced a GE oven I had used for 26 years (with not one repair!!) so I decided to stick with GE when we remodeled. First, I will share some irritating things. A new feature for me is the preheat function. It takes 14 minutes for the oven to heat up to 350. This seems like a really long time to me, but perhaps for the last 26 years I had been placing food in my oven before it had reached the correct temperature since it did not have a preheat feature. Another issue is that it seems to cook a little hotter, so I usually decrease the recommended setting by about 5 degrees. The final thing I dislike (and this may be a safety feature), is the fan that blows heat into the room after the oven is turned off. I don't know where the heat from my old oven went, but it did not blow back into the room. Some positive things now. It is very attractive, has a lot of features, and the self-cleaning odor is much more tolerable than that of my previous oven.
