I've only had this oven for 2 weeks, but it is a great improvement since my prior GE
wall oven (from 1990) no longer had a functional bottom element. My only problems
involve 1.) timer use is not intuitive. must press "start" to activate
2.) it took about 30 minutes to preheat to 450
but I love the look, the number panel instead of up and down arrows, the roomy
inside and the many options for rack positions.
I rated this oven as an excellent value, since I was lucky enough to find a marked
down returned unit.

Awesome oven!

I bought this oven last month - replacing a 24 year-old workhorse of an oven which we had. I was doubtful any oven could work like my old oven but this one is incredible! Heats up/quiet and cooks perfectly. I love the hidden element.

Now that fall has arrived, we have started using the oven quite often. The controls are easy to use, and overall the oven seems to cook our food as we expect. However we have discovered that the broil feature burns the food on the back of the oven while broiling the food in the front of the oven to perfection! Even when we set the oven to low heat for the broil setting. We are considering returning it and getting a different oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
