My new stove

Our 25 year old GE oven suddenly died and we had to get a new one. I was surprised at how expensive they were, and we purchased a single oven that fit where the old one was. With the stainless steel exterior, a light that works, and easy to operate keypad- I am very
happy! It looks beautiful, it cooks just fine, and its still clean. GE still makes great appliances.

I bought this oven in August, could not use it because it made the house so hot,will have to get rid of it and buy something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Oven is Very Well designed, easy to use, Very pleasing to the eye!
Replaced a 1963 GE 26" Wall oven (still working) with this 27", a little cabinet trimming and the installation by installer was very quick! Digital Display & Stainless are top shelf!

Replaced a 36 year old GE Wall Oven which still worked. I really like my new stainless steel wall oven. It bakes very evenly. Haven't tried the self clean feature yet, but I'm sure it will meet my expectations. The nice darker color of the inside of the oven is nice too. The only issue that I had was the timer which was very different than any others I had ever used. Once I figured it out it is fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy to install, I would change the flex conduit from 3/4 inch to 1/2 inch.

Wall Oven to Love!

This oven is beautiful! Inside and out. The racks are shaped with an opening in the front for easy grasping with a mitt or pad and they are coated with a speckled look that is so rich and impressive. The light is easy on and off from the touchpad and also comes on automatically when the door is opened. The control touchpad is so user friendly, it hardly needs the thorough instructions it came with. Haven't used the self cleaning feature yet, but it was a must have and looks like it would be easy to program. Very happy with this oven!

It's ok. I think it costs too much for the size of the product. I could buy a full size oven and cooktop for half the price.

Not what I expected

This oven takes up to 15 - 20 minutes to reach the desired temperature during the pre-heat cycle. The second you start the baking cycle, a fan starts blowing out heat at an outlet at the bottom of the oven. My previous GE built-in oven's outlet was at the top of the product, and the fan only turned on when the oven was over heated. It would seem that this new product is wasting energy with the continuous fan blowing out heat during the baking cycle. The fan continues to run up to 15 minutes after you turn the oven off. Also, this is an additional expense for the homeowner.
