This model was purchased to replace an oven that was original to the house we purchased that was built in the 1950’s. Not only is this stunning to look at but it’s easy to use AND it’s huge inside. This oven is a game changer compared to the one I had and has improved meal preparation immensely. I am thrilled with it!

The oven is working out very nicely. The only drawback we have found is the length of time it takes to preheat to a set temperature. It’s a pretty oven, also. We had previously bought a GE dishwasher that is nice which is why we went with this oven.

So far (3 weeks), the oven has been good. A few observations:
1. It takes about 10-15 mins to warm up
2. It cooked better than my 25 year old GE oven - more consistent.
3. The oven door alarm is annoying. Sometimes on broil, I keep the door ajar. I get a beeping sound saying I need to close it.
4. The oven door stayed open one time. It doesn't seem to shut closed well. I feel like I need to push it closed harder than I should / thought would be the case.
5. The racks don't slide really well. Maybe the metal against metal just needs to get loosed up.
6. The no hot wires on the bottom is nice. I can't wait to try the clean feature.
7. Install was easy. It was quick and relatively painless. I did it myself.
8. The light placement is really nice. It shines on the food very well.

Now the question you really want to know? Would I buy this again from what I know and in the amount of time I've had it . . YES, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase this again. I don't need convection. I want a solid brand. I don't need any fancy things like convection (although very nice - I can't justify it), wifi . . .etc. I wanted an oven that will last for 20 years that was purchased at a reasonable price. I got it.

Nice Wall Oven

Inside is larger than my last one, I can fit two medium roasting pans side by side. It has a feature called Proof, which I was told is used to rise dough. Great feature if you bake breads and has a delayed timer. Food is cooked evenly and thoroughly in the time given. I have not used the self clean feature yet. It also has a beeping sound when the door is left open for more than a minute. Can be a bit annoying if you are basting or testing for doneness. It is a really nice looking oven in white. The door is all glass and can be removed, however, it is very heavy so probably not something I will be doing. I rated it 3 stars instead of 5 because my last oven went from 0 to 400 degrees in less than 5 minutes, it was also a 50 year old oven. This one takes a little over 15 minutes to heat.
This site is ridiculous. Wasted 20 minutes trying to upload photos and still could not get them to upload.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Our house was built in 1960 and this is the third GE oven so obviously they last. The last one lasted 22 years. Love the look and the new features of my new oven.
