Used less than 15-20 times, now broken

I purchased a brand new home September 13, 2018, with all GE appliances. 1 yr 5 mos, my new Wall Oven BROKE! JT3000 30’ Single Wall Oven. Now, I wonder why GE has DISCONTINUED this particular product. It’s a piece of garbage!!!! It’s probably only been used 15-20 times since I purchased my new home. These appliances should last for 20-30 yrs or more, not 17 months!!! What’s wrong with you GE? Your brand no longer stands up to your trademark. I’m not paying to have it fixed. I’d rather replace this cheap oven with a better name brand that will last a lot longer than 17 months. Also, I’m not the only one in my community that is having to replace their cheap GE ovens. Several new homeowners of 1-3 yrs have had to replace these GE ovens. SHAME ON YOU GE!

Self clean feature is costly!

Oven for the most part works fine and is aesthetically pleasing however, every time I use the self cleaning feature per the manual, I have to get a new part for the oven. The first time it was used I had to get a new door lock as it fried the original. Used it agin this morning and it shattered the glass on the door costing me even more money. Maybe mine is a one off issue but I am extremely disappointed considering the cost of the oven.

2 small downsides:
-- the proofing setting doesn't say what temperature it sets itself to.. this is not in the handbook either
-- the door is slightly crooked. Could be a shipping side effect?
