The oven was installed today and it seems to work well. The documentation is lacking. It didn't come with a complete owners manual, so in order to work the oven's basic function, I had to go online and find the manual. Even then, it wasn't easy to figure out how to set the oven temp, if I didn't want to bake at 350, the default temp. But it is beautiful to look at and I know I will enjoy it for many years to come.

When I preheat to 350, the signal rings and the windows says 350, but 2 thermometers inside say it is 300. About 20 minutes later, it reaches 350, but I only know that because the thermometers inside (remember, I am using 2) say 350. Then the oven stays on for days. Three days after I used the oven, it was 120 inside. The only reason I bought GE was becasue of the promise that it would fit. This is ridiculous that there is so much wrong with a brand new oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there, we're terribly sorry to see your oven is taking so long to preheat and that it's staying on for days. We can imagine how worrisome this would be, considering we'd never want this for our consumers. We first suggest disconnecting power to your unit for 2-3 minutes to reset the controls.

Great Oven!

I love this oven! I was hesitant at first to purchasing an electric oven, because by prior of 20 years was gas. But, I chose this oven because its quality and price. It's one of the best products that I've ever purchased!

The buttons are difficult to read. We have not tried all of the features, some are hard to read so we have to look them up to use them.
