Great Double Oven with all the features needed

I bought this double oven to replace an old unit. It is wonderful and roomy! It cooks evenly and cleans up easily. I have been using it for at least 4 months now. No problems.

Great Oven

It's the best family Christmas present I ever got and it's been used practically every day to either bake or warm things up. Even my kids are using it. Love the size, how it looks, how it bakes, and the low cooling noise, which is the main reason I chose this one. :) Only wish that I could use both the top and bottom timers at the same time when baking in both ovens. You can set different temperatures for each oven, but not the baking time.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the fact that you can pre-set temperature and cooking time. Food comes out as the recipe indicates it should.

Disappointing

For about 4 months we had issues with doors popping out of hinges, and sometimes (once during a dinner party!) we couldn't even get the doors to close all the way! Ater several visits from GE and the installer, a kit was installed into our brand new oven to prevent this from happening. It was very disappointing to have a brand new oven jerry-rigged. In addition, the oven takes an unusually long time to heat up. You have to wait about 17-18 minutes for it to reach 350.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet, even heating

We replaced our old wall oven for the GE double wall oven, and we are so pleased with it. The control panel is very easy to use and love the keep food warm feature. This oven has racks that can be left in during the self-clean cycle, and the bottom oven has 2 racks where my old oven only had one. The cool-down cycle is very quiet.
The only thing I have noticed that I don't like is the pre-heat cycle taking a little longer than usual to heat to designated temperature. Good buy!
