quietness of cooling/circulating fans

Purchased in November,2014---quietness is impressive and cleaning seems to be easier than our old ovens. I like the enameled racks. Heating seems to be a little slower than the old ovens, but is no problem. Just getting used to these.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Convection option

We wanted a convection oven (at least on the upper or lower) and Cook Time (oven shuts off when time expires).
The salesman said we could not get both options.
The Cook Time was more important to us, so we got this oven.
Would have given 5 stars if the oven had convection and cook time.
The oven looks nice and we are happy with the performance, have had it one week.

i have had this oven for about 2 months. Looks good but it gives out so much heat it turns my kitchen into an oven in itself and my kitchen is not small. It also takes about half an hour for the fan to stop. It still gives out heat when it is turn off. I have read many of the reviews and no one seem to comment on that. I would have return this appliance if it was not too much of a hussle considering the cost. I replaced an old GE model that never gave out such heat. You would think a new model will work better. So dissapointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did a lot of homework on line and liked the GE. Its a beautiful oven. I am original owner of this house (39 years ago) and wanted to get a product made by a company I trust.

User guide is poorly written which made setting clock, etc. a puzzle, but once all controls are mastered, we like them. Ovens seem slow to reach desired temperature. The steam cleaning function does not clean as well as guide indicates. We were hampered by size limits as we were replacing a twenty five year old built in unit.
