Good oven for the price

We bought this oven 1 month ago and it works fine. My only complaint is that it takes forever to preheat to desired temperature. But other than that is works great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What an improvement over the years!

I am a new owner, and have not used all the different features, but these are the These are things I feel about the ovens so far.. 1. With the light on, you can clearly see everything in the ovens. One negative is when you turn the light on, it lights both ovens. It would be a good feature for each oven light to turn on separately..( A very minor complaint!) 2. The oven really bakes totally evenly, and I never have to turn a baking sheet in the middle of baking. 3. The interior is so much bigger than my old 25 year old oven..Not sure how that works because they were both 27" ovens, but it will be wonderful for the holidays! 4. If I had a choice I would like the controls to be covered with glass rather than this plastic clear material. 5. The coated racks are a very wonderful feature. I have not had to automatically clean them yet, but what a saver of work and time it will be, to be able to leave them in the oven when doing the cleaning features. 6. The ovens were not exactly the measurements quoted. It was very slightly bigger, so it is a good idea to make sure you have a little more space, so that you can make the cut out bigger, if need be. 7. The ovens have simple smart lines, and would fit into any kitchen that has other stainless steel appliances. 8. This is a straight forward oven. It does not have some expensive bells and whistles, that my old oven had. But I found I never used the probe, or convection feature on my old oven. Be sure you do not want these extra expensive features. But these ovens have all a good cook needs to make a delicious meal. 9. I thought they would include a Grill Pan, but it does not. It is considered an "accessory" A tip is not to throw away the pan you used from your old oven! 10. I do not think anyone would be disappointed with this GE oven, as long as you know what you are getting and not getting. It is a great oven over all.

Very Efficient Ovens

These were bought to replace wall ovens which were over 15 years old. Not only do they look nice, but they work very well. We have always been happy with GE appliances as they have lasted well over 15 years.

Nice Oven

I really like my new double oven. It cooks pretty evenly although it cooks a little slower than my previous oven. The only negative is that it takes a long time to pre-heat. Other than that....I have no complaints.

Replacing a GE double oven from the 1960's, I'm impressed with the style, features, and efficiency of this new model. I'm thrilled that the new oven seems just as solid and substantial as my original-- not some cheap product designed to need replacement in the next few decades.
