I've been pleased with the new double oven. Going from a single oven to a double oven was a necessity for my household, and GE has a solid reputation for producing high-quality appliances. I'm looking forward to years of hassle-free operation.

Replacement Oven

Wish I wound have purchased the convectional oven, like the one we replaced. Also the cleaning function is not as good as the previous oven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features and Look

We just installed this oven and it worked great! It replaced an older Whirlpool double wall oven. So far, this oven is top notch in comparison!

I loved that it fit in the space that my older double oven was built in. And the stainless finish is beautiful and worked in my mostly white kitchen.

Good but some quirks

Negatives-racks do not slide easily-maybe I'm doing something incorrect but when I've lowered the temperature it's turned it off and when I've added more time on timer it's turned it off oven and I didn't realize till it had dropped about 100 degrees. The gasket or strip around door is irregular and not sure it supposed to be that way. Positives-quiet, seems to bake evenly enough, broil good not great. All in all I like it. I'd recommend it with above info.
