After using the Self Clean for the first time, every time we close the door the fan comes on with loud noise as if it is hitting the metal siding. No longer we can close the door

Very slow to preheat…

Wow, my 17-year-old oven had a burner in the top and bottom and would preheat in about 1/3 of the time as this new oven. I’m not sure if I got a defective model or if everyone else out there it’s just a whole lot more patient than I am, but waiting on this thing to preheat is painful. I wish that I had researched this topic prior to buying this unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this appliance in November. Have had trouble with the control pad almost from the beginning. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it would not.\
And as you might guess.. it completely quit during the Christmas Holidays when no repairman was available until January 2, 20018

Great Oven

I bought this double oven just before Thanksgiving and I like it very much. However I have not had satisfactory success using the steam clean feature and if something spills and I use the oven again without cleaning the spill or unaware of the spill the whole place smokes up and makes the kitchen smell.Otherwise the features are great and it looks good. The oven light really lights things up well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor manufacturing control for oven temperture

Oven temperture was +30 degrees over when tested. They had to be adjusted before using them.
Timer should also have a setting for seconds.

So much more room inside

We had to replace a GE wall over that had its control panel die after 25 years. We wanted a replacement of the same dimensions; this one was less than an inch taller, and we were able to fit it into the old space with minimal structural work.
We were astonished to see how much more space we have in each of the ovens. We use baker's tiles, and the difference in size was obvious when we put them in.
The control panel was easy to learn and use. Some new features (proofing and warming functions), but otherwise, it works as well as the old one. Let's hope it lasts another 25 years!
