We ordered this double oven to replace our antiquecated one. I was surprised when we opened the box that the front doors are glass (like cooktops) the glass doors gives it a sleek & contemporary look. The Oven works great and it has a very nice looking exterior.

Beautiful oven!

I am enjoying my new double wall oven! My old oven was burning food or not heating up at all, so it is nice to be able to cook without worry. It is consistent and the food comes out delicious. The only downside is the time that it takes to preheat, it is slow in comparison to ovens I have had in the past. Overall, it is a good piece of equipment to have.

Not what I expected

I am not very happy with the double oven we purchased. Whenever I bake cookies, they come out dry and crumbly...not what I am used to with my previous oven. Even pies have to be over-baked in order for the crust to be cooked. I am very unhappy with this purchase and wish I hadn't bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the convenience of having two ovens. The controls are easy to read and easy to use. The "proof" feature was great to rise the dough when I baked some bread! It's great having all the different levels of oven racks for different purposes. It's nice that you can choose the cook/time timer setting that will turn off the oven when food is done. I am enjoying the double oven very much and would recommend it highly. It really doesn't take up too much more space than my single that I replaced.

We Love Our New Double Oven!

We have waited years to replace our double oven, but the wait has been worth it because we love our new GE Double Oven! So many new features that we've not had before, such as digital controls, delayed oven use, self-cleaning ovens, and additional racks which increase the flexibility of cooking foods closer or further away from the heat source. This oven has powerful heating elements that are completely hidden under the top and bottom panels of each oven so there is no chance that food will drip directly onto the element, and therefore the oven stays cleaner all the time (even though both ovens are self-cleaning!). I only wish we had installed this oven years ago -- you shouldn't wait!
