Better Than Average.

We have enjoyed using this oven but it has a couple of issues.
Having a double oven has been great. Install was pretty easy, we did it ourselves. Very heavy, but a friend helped us do it safely and properly.
The top oven started having problems about 12 months after purchase. It does not heat up to proper temperature. It will read that it is maintaining temperature but if you adjust up it will show the actual temperature (presumably) while it does its preheat thing. Sometimes up to 50 degrees below commanded. We noticed it wasn't cooking things properly. The bottom oven has not had this issue.
24 months in (approx.) the blower fan for the upper oven failed rendering both oven unusable. I actually only came on to review and register while looking for the replacement part. If you're getting a deal on it, for the most part it does what an oven should. It's certainly not been anything special and there are things I have not liked about it.
It is aesthetic. That is the one nice thing I have to say that allows this oven to stand out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am so elated to have found the exact wall oven that I needed. The price was awry and the customer service was even better. I talked to the salesman and he knew my situation and worked with me. I’ve recommended the store to several people already.

We inherited (home purchase) model JK3500SF5SS Double oven. Pre-heat times are long, but biggest issue is error code 97 that infrequently pops up. Usually clearing oven resolves the issue, but still? DO I need a service call?

Nice when it works

The oven is nice looking and works fine when it’s operable. A few years with it and I’m getting an F97 code. I’ve shut off power and turned back on as recommended but still nothing. I’ve read that the most common problem with this code is the lower blower fan is faulty. I’ve ordered a replacement. Still waiting for it.

Do NOT Recommend. Have had multiple problems with this unit. The GE techs fixed under warranty first time but now its out of warranty and I constantly get the F97 error code and have to go through multi cleaning cycles to get them into to function. I will not buy GE again.

Very practical

We never knew we’d need this oven as much we did. Bake whole batches of cookies at once. Thanksgiving bake Turkey and pies simultaneously. We liked no heating coil exposure on bottom of oven and how well it heats. Since this model doesn’t have a fan the heating can be a little uneven which we turn around pan part of way through cook time. Programmable cook time, self cleaning and broiler…very satisfied
