Just bought second one - for wife

Bought first GT-1500 several years ago. It has worked perfectly - still does. Paper feed is great even on sheets that are somewhat crumpled or had been stapled. Yes, you can scan a document that was printed on both sides ( to a PDF file) and make the pages fall in correct page number sequence - this is an easy (but not intuitive) 3 step process. Use auto doc feeder to scan all odd pages 1,3,5, etc then select "Add Page" in the pop-up window. Turn the document over and use auto doc feeder to scan even pages 6,4,2, . Click on "edit" in the GT-1500 pop-up window, click on the icon "12345.." and the pages will be put in the correct 123456 sequence when saved. Ignore the small numbers shown below the sheet icons after each scan.

I bought the scanner like always expecting all kinds of complications and hardship just hoping in the overall doing fine.. It never gave trouble, it was easy to use ... really ! and is working very fast and very good with the mixmax of the papers I am using without fail .. I recommend it .. A west

Excellent Scanner - for a while

This scanner did an excellent job, until lines started to show up - vertical lines in several different places. I cleaned everything that could be cleaned with no improvement. Ended up having to purchase another scanner because the quality was not acceptable

About a year after purchasing it, with very light use, the feeder stopped working. It chews up the document as it tries unsuccessfully to feed it.
Waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
