product worked good to start with, but over time scans are very poor in quality and is now scanning documents at a slight angle. I have also noticied that scans are not getting red marks down the center of the page. overall i would not buy this product again...

Poorly Written Instructions/ Difficult setup

Several critical steps are left out or unclear in the installation instructions, such as disengaging the shipping lock! The software has so many additional programs that they interrupt each other trying to install. Installation of the software can take hours even on a quality business machine. Maybe someday the product will be worth the annoyance, but for now I am about to toss the whole thing.

Honestly, this device couldn't have been easier to connect and start using. I didn't have time to read the user's guide...fortunately, it wasn't necessary to start using immediately.

Multiple page scanner at Last!!

This truly has been time-shaver when at times there is need to scan multiple page documents for emailing to close to 100 or more addresses. I would recommend this scanner to professionals in every walk of life plus anyone involved in community, civic or public services. I am very happy with this great investments which was very reasonably priced!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got the scanner 2 weeks ago
after Installing it and start using it here what I found:
1. Definitely not 20PPM. Lucky to get 6 PPM
2. realy over priced for what you get.
3. OCR is not even 20% Acurate.
4. Definitely not for business
5. Great scanner if you never had one before or used an all in one.
6. Works only with Epson software.

The scanner appears to be well constructed. I don't see how it can achieve 20 ppm with software provided and from the button controls which take a little pressure and patience to work. The manual is another thing. What needs to be done is to prepare a manual for all the claims about the scanner. That is show how you can achieve 20 ppm. I don't think it can do it. It should clearly show you how you can create searchable document scans and scans to email. Before you purchase a scanner look at its manual on line. I looked at another manual for a scanner that I was also considering and the difference was like night and day. It was written both for the PC and Mac users. Each section clearly identified. The Epson scanner itself is a nice design. I do like Epson products but not Epson manuals.

GT-1500 -- Excellent Scanner

The GT-1500 scanner is, to say the least, an excellent product. Granted, the installation instructions left out the part where one installs the software before connecting the scanner to the pc, but why whimper. The machine has performed incredibly well, especially knowing that I scan upward of two hundred pages a week and have done so for about six months. Other than basic cleaning, this machine requires no attention.
I would recommend this to a friend!
