Censored!!! - Excellent Music Destroyed

I love Lady Gaga. Her music is expressive, great dance beats, awesome to work to. Her lyrics are expressive, progressive.
Aaaaaand censored.
There was no censorship labeling on the cd.
I am new to Lady Gaga (only started listening to her about 2 weeks ago) and am not very familiar with her music. So when I purchased "The Fame Monster" last night, it didn't occur to me that it should have had an "explicit lyrics" sticker. I did, however, give it a once-over to be sure it wasn't labelled "Clean LP" and saw nothing of the sort.
As this cd is not properly labeled as censored, and there was no way for me to know this without having listened to it, I will be returning this cd, opened or not. I am an adult and do not need to be told what I can and cannot listen to, by anyone. Not the FCC and not the record company.
I purchased this music at Best Buy to avoid the censorship that Walmart forces on its customers. The music industry chases down those that pirate music but then turns around and punishes those that are honest and spend our hard earned money on their products.
I, for one, am not going to put up with it. I like Gaga's music, but I can't condone this kind of behavior from the record company. I am taking my CD back to the store and demanding a refund.
If you want to send a message to the music company take your CDs back and don't be afraid to voice your opinion, that you don't believe in censorship.
What's great about it: Gaga is outspoken and amaising
What's not so great: Censorship - Not Labelled as such
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This album is awesome. Such a different sound than The Fame album however it doesn't totally deviate from the pop sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I came to Best Buy to pick up a 2nd copy of The Fame Monster only to find it to is censored. There is nothing indicating this album is censored. This is apparently the only way the album has been released at this point thanks to the stupid record company. So just be aware of that.
Otherwise the album is fantastic. Lady Gaga gets more gritty and dark and I love it. She's showing another side of herself on this album. She's extremely talented.
The only reason I wouldn't recommend getting the album at this point is because the record company has censored it. Quite unfair.
What's great about it: Music and lyrics
What's not so great: Censored
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

While some may be bothered by the censorship I was not the album is fun and the songs are great. The best part about this set is that you get the original Fame plus 8 songs, but if you own the original CD it would be wiser to get the The Fame Monster EP which just includes those eight songs. You'll love the album trust me Lady Gaga only gets better with more and more plays!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This was a great value because it was like getting two CD's for the price of one. I love Lady Gaga and so getting a deal like this is awesome!
