this is my 3rd scanner from epson. i would love to have the 700 series but being that i don't scan for a business the 600 is perfect, as well as the 500 and 330 for my scanning and conversion needs.

I only use epson its the best for photo. I have used epson for 15 years. Checked out other products and epson is the most progresssive product. With quality in mined.

Great Scanner for Home Projects

This scanner is great for all my home projects, old photos, slides and negatives. It is reasonably prices, easy to use and all the quality I need. My only complaint is that I struggle with the online user guide.

Buy a v850

I bought this scanner when my i900 died. It was a good general purpose scanner for medium quality. I needed to scan B&W pictures and the v600 did not have the necessary detail in the shadow area, which is the black in black and white. I returned it and bought a v850. Worth the difference in price. Excellent scans in B&W as well as high dpi color. Very happy with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This scanners has the perfect size for a small desk hile having great features for the photography enthusiast. The fact that you can scan 35 mm and Medium Format film makes this scanner a great purchase for the money. Software is pretty easy to learn and use. Great for scanning prints for archiving in digital form.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Epson Photo Scanner. I chose Epson this time because the first one was easy to use and the quality was excellent.. I'm sure this one will be even better.

apparently this soft ware is not up to date with Apple Mac at 32 and needs to be upgraded to 64

why replacement?

I had an older V600. I kept having to "reload" the program. Apple tried but could not fix the problem. I waited several times on the Epson line. So, re-checking the web, the v600 still came out on top overall. So I got a new one. I hope the new one works.
