Top of the line flatbed scanner

This is highest resolution flatbed scanner in this price range and the software for converting PDF to .txt files is very helpful also. Epson is running all over HP with their scanners and Inkjet printers. I would recommend this product for anyone working with Photoshop of any level.

I really liked the digital ICE feature for photographic scans. It helps to produce a better final product. All-in-all, this is a great scanner for the money. Highly recommended!

I've used another brand's scanner for several years and was happy with it. A move to Windows 7 precipitated my getting a new scanner.
The specs are very good on this scanner and they were the primary reason I bought it. But I was in for some pleasant surprises.
I'm thrilled with the scanner's LED lights and how quickly it starts working.
My old scanner said it could scan slides, but didn't do a good job of it. But this new scanner does a great job and much to my surprise, it does a great job on negatives too.
I'm very happy with this device.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Scanner

I had an epson photo scanner for about 5 years and when it died a month ago, I purchased this Epson V600. I am totally satisfied with it. I was scanning slides 5 minutes after I took it out of the box....I am no expert by any means, but this is EASY!

I purchased this scanner to allow me to scan my slides and pictures plus organize them. It does this wonderfully. I would recommend this unit to anyone! It is great!

This scanner is a pleasure to use. It performs flawlessly! I have owned other scanners in the past, but the V600 is by far the best. I have over 7000 slides to scan, and it does everything that I need a scanner to do...and does it with nice speed. I enjoy using it for these slides as well as documents and other items. The included softwear is a bonus! You cannot go wrong with the V600.

After reading LOTS of reviews, and comparing features, I decided to go for the V600. I'm already impressed by the results in just scanning some photos, but the real area this is going to shine, is when I take on the project of converting my father's slide picture collection,and putting it all to digital.I can just see his face when he gets to view a lifetime of his photography achievements, in the digital format on DVD.It will be a great undertaking, and that's the biggest reason I chose the V600, as well as the great price.BTW...am also upgrading my printer to the Epson Artisan 710, but I'll comment on that when it comes this week.
