The Epson Perfection V600 Phot Scanner works great with Microsoft Windows 7. Just like previous Epson scanners that I have owned, it works great. I have had no problems at all with this scanner. Here is the Epson product description for your information and use.

I have used my scanner mostly for scanning negatives in the profesional mode, and i am very impressed! It does a fabulous job on scanning photos also...i am very happy i purchased it.

Upgrade Scanner

I spent quite a bit of time looking at scanners, and went with the Epson V600 because my previous scanner is an Epson and there was almost no learning curve. (My old scanner doesn't work with Windows 7.) Epson has altered the software interface slightly and removed the SmartPanel, but I didn't have any trouble learning the new software. I can't say enough about the amazing Digital ICE software. I tried it on some old photos and the results were amazing. Scratches, folds, and dust were gone. The included PhotoShop Elements is also a great help. I highly recommend the V600.

Finally a scanner that does justice to my 35MM slides from the 50's and 60's. Having tried several other brands of scanners through the years the V600 tops them all.

My old scanner broke so I bought this one & I love it. Scans easily and flawlessly. Very quiet compared to my old scanner. I love the energy efficient as well. Good scanner at a great price. The only thing was getting the scanner dialog box to show up was a little confusing but other than that it was good to go.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This scanner performs admirably. It offers lots of flexiblility as far as format goes. It scans plenty of detail (information) to provide all the enlargement necessary.
