V600 Scanner

I have not had the scanner very long. I been busy with work and other things. So I haven't had the chance to start my projects. I have used it to scan in about 25 photos. It worked great for the basic stuff. The more advanced I will do later. Will give more feedback at a later time.

great results

At this time, i have not scanned film or slides. Reflective operation has been excellent, and full auto yields better results than expected. Truly a lot of scanner for the money, and I feel confident that it will definitely handle my film and slides.

Nice equipment

I just received my V600 today and set it up in no time at all. The instructions last step said scan a picture. I have a photo that I needed to repair and print so I scanned it and put it in Photo Shop. The whole procedure went well and at this point I am very happy with my purchase.

3rd Epson Scanner

Great scanner and much faster than previous scanners owned. Only down side, is having to reregister completely. Should have a way to update registration for use on updated computer.

Fast and Furious

Working on a MFA in Photography, using this for my school projects and business photographs. Scan's faster than I can put them in. Easy installation and use and your on your way to fast production and high quality.

Now that it works, I'm very pleased with the picture quality.
However, when I first set it up something inside was bent and I had to take it to a repair facility. Not very happy with the quality control check!

Pretty good

Four stars because I don't know it well enough and four stars because it is a tad bulky. Other than that, the quality of the output - the only thing that really matters - has been exceptional. I have had other slide scanners that were pitifully bad by comparison, So far I have scanned enough slides to know that the Perfection 600 is very good for my purposes, which involves copying a few thousand slides at my leisure. I have also tried scanning color negatives of long lost pictures and am very satisfied with its performance. I expected it to be relatively slow but figure that good things are definitely worth waiting for. The last slide scanner that I purchased a few weeks ago had to be sent back because the scans were bad beyond belief. Fortunately, the return policy worked very well and after more research, I settled on the Epson Perfection 600. I trust nothing will happen to make me change my mind but for now I am well satisfied.

Exceeded my expectations!

This is the best scanner that I have owned. It is easy to use (quick scan buttons on the front) and the scans are fast. The software is VERY easy to use and intuitive. I would highly recommend this scanner to anyone.
