I recently got into film photography again and have been processing my own film. This scanner is perfect, no more paying to have anything done, I'm a self sufficient film processing lab now. Thanks Epson.

Great new Christmas toy. Install was a little tricky, instructions could be more explicit for laymen. But the picture quality is unbelievably good. Scanned some Instamatic 110 pictures from the 1970's and the results were better then I could ever had hoped for. 35mm negative scans also came out great.

Installation, ease of use and most importantly quality of images, the V600 excels in all these areas. I have not scanned slides yet but I expect that to go well. The only nit I have is that the lid jerks as it hits the two positions. The unit itself is very light so the item on the glass may move as the lid comes down but this is a small nit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a very good photo scanner for the advanced, intermediate or beginner. Easy and straightforeward to setup and use. For scanning 35mm slides or negatives to make prints, up to 8"x10"... excellent. For larger prints...very good. Digital Ice and dust removal work well. Scanning prints is easy and results are excellent. I haven't scanned medium format negs or slides, but my guess is that the results will be outstanding.

From medium format negative's,photo's & slides the quality is great. We have also used it to create photos from a negative from a family reunion in 1991 that made alot of folks very happy. I am impressed on the quality of this product.

V600 Scanner

I have not had the scanner very long. I been busy with work and other things. So I haven't had the chance to start my projects. I have used it to scan in about 25 photos. It worked great for the basic stuff. The more advanced I will do later. Will give more feedback at a later time.

great results

At this time, i have not scanned film or slides. Reflective operation has been excellent, and full auto yields better results than expected. Truly a lot of scanner for the money, and I feel confident that it will definitely handle my film and slides.
